Trivia Tournament

Hamazkayin held a Trivia Tournament in which nine groups from the Armenian Community Centre took part on Friday, October 10th.  The nine teams were made up of representatives from Hamazkayin, ARF, St Mary’s Church, ARFYOC, Armen Karo, ARS, Senior’s Club, Homenetmen, and grade 12 students from the ARS High School. 

There was eight rounds of eight questions with questions to the audience in between rounds. The Quizmaster was Moushegh Karakashian from the ARS Day School who read the questions, the judges were Rev. Meghrig, Alice Chitilian from the School Bd of Trustees, and Khonar Hallajian from the Scout Committee.

The questions ranged from Armenian history to culture, to current events and included some that had everyone thinking very hard.

Hamazkayin chair Tamar Donabedian thanked everyone for participating and handed out certificates to the 27 particpants.
