Good Friday Parade

Close to a thousand members of the Armenian community came out for the annual Good Friday parade.  The parade was lead by the colour guard of the Homenetmen Scout flag bearers and the Fanfare band.

The Scouts, the Church choir and youth groups, and hundreds of other people made their way along the one and half hour route which was escorted by the Toronto Police Service.

Two Roman soldiers on horseback added authenticity to the scene of cross bearers  that preceded the Very Rev. Meghrig Parikian.and other members of the clergy.

The parade ended back at St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church.
