2005 - 10 new members join the A.R.S.

Annual A.R.S. Day

After presenting a summary of the annual report, ungerouhi Maro Froonjian delivered her message accompanied with a video taken at the HOM’s sponsored kindergartens, in Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhk. 10 new members took an oath administered by ungerouhi Anahid Der Megerdichian.

The following A.C.C. members got awarded for their contribution to the community:

• Mr. Nurhan Arman, Muisc Director of Symphonia Toronto, for his valuable contribution in introducing Armenian music in Canada and other countries of the world.
• Mr. Aris Babikian, for his vital contribution to Hye Tad.
• Mrs. Sona Sarkissian, for her valuable contribution in Armenian Nurses Organization, Ontario.
• Mr. Garo Sarkissian, as a young dedicated volunteer of Hye Getron.
• 2 scholarships awarded to outstanding university students through the A.R.S. Roubina Chapter Scholarship Program
• 1 scholarship awarded to an outstanding student through the Tro Najarian Scholarship Program
• 15, 25 and 35 year membership awards
• 50 year membership awards to ungerouhi Tikranouhi Khachatoorian and ungerouhi Araxie Baboujian (presented by Houri Najarian and Armig Safarian)

After the traditional candle-lighting ceremony, Hayr Meghrig Parikian concluded the ceremony by praising HOM’s commitment and dedication towards their charitable objectives.
