ARS Bazaar 2005  ARS Roubina Chapter, Toronto – The Annual Christmas Bazaar officially opened its doors on Saturday, November 5th, 2005, at the Armenian Community Center. ACC organizations’ representatives attended the opening ceremony including St. Mary Church pastor Father Meghrik Barikian. Marie Darakjian, a senior member of ARS cut the ribbon. Around 2,500 people visited the Bazaar on November 5 & 6, enjoying Armenian homemade cuisines prepared by volunteer ARS members. The Bazaar had assorted items; including handcrafted artifacts with Armenian motifs, fine custom jewelry, fashion wear, household gift items. The hall was decorated with a huge Christmas tree setting the upcoming holiday mood. Arpi Chitilian, chair of the ARS bazaar committee, said that such a success would not be possible without the bazaar committee members’ hard work, who volunteered since April organizing the event. The generous contribution of 14 Armenian representatives from Real Estate Industry was also greatly appreciated. The Bazaar was a success with your support and 100% of the proceeds, as usual, will go to ARS Armenian School of Toronto, to support school operation cost.
