Readers Urged to Watch and Vote Online for Genocide Commemoration TV Report

(Asbarez) -- A television news report produced in Armenia on April 24, 2005 about the commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide is now on-line and may be watched by Internet users around the world. The web page (www.current.tv/studio/media/1212877) is part of former Vice President Al Gore’s new media venture called "Current TV." The network solicits reports from viewers, then decides what will be aired based on how many on-line users give the report the "green light." The Genocide segment on-line was reported by Paul Chaderjian on behalf of Armenia TV (www.armeniaTV.am). The report was prepared at the Dzidzernagapert monument during the commemoration and broadcast via satellite to CNN, Associated Press, and Eurovision headquarters on April 24. The same report will be
broadcast on Current TV if it receives enough votes.
