Armenians Celebrate 16th Anniversary

Armenians all over the world celebrated the 16th anniversary of Armenian Indepandance on September 21st. In Toronto, the celebration was held in the Hamazkayin Theatre within the Armenian Youth Centre where over 300 people watched and listened to dancers and singers and a video presentation.  The guest speaker, Raffi DerBoghossian went through the history of events that took place for the Republic to cast that historic vote and announce that Armenia was a free and independant republic on September 21, 1991.
