MPP's New Year's Levee

Local MPP and friend of the Armenian Community Centre David Caplan hosted his annual New Year’s Levee on Sunday, January 20th at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers hall in North York. People from all over the riding came out to see Mr Caplan and other members of the community. Mr Caplan spoke briefly and wished everyone a great New Year and once again thanked all the volunteers in his riding.

The Armenian community was represented by approx 10 people who attended. Armenian National Committee of Toronto chair, Vahan Ajamian said that our community needs to come out to local events like this to show our support to our elected officials as well as show the community at large that Armenians are an active part of our communities.
